On May 15, 2010, PETER MOSER, the renowned British community music master came to SHCC. He joined with young members of the Choir in improvising and rehearsing songs for Shanghai Expo 2010. Peter brought a whole new approach in music teaching by involving the children in song-writing to express their best wishes for the Expo.

Renowned British musician, Peter Moser, is a composer, performer, teacher and producer. Winner of the Arts Council England ART06 award for work in Music Education, he has been the Artistic Director of More Music in Morecambe for the past 16 years after he retired from the post of Musical Director of Welfare State International.

Peter Moser¡¯s trip to Shanghai this time coincided with his invitation from the UK Pavilion for the Shanghai Expo 2010 to create their Expo theme song and rehearse with the performers for the event.
