DIY Music Division Recital
On the morning of June 24, 2017, our DIY Music Division of over one hundred adorable students took the stage at the Sunshine Theatre in Changning District Children’s Palace. Some suited up in mini-dresses and mini-tuxedoes for an elegant court dance. Some, with candles in hand, sang a song of good wishes in a wonderland-like scene. Some painted their hands in bright colors, others their faces as cats – or maybe tigers?
Another big part of the performance happened off stage. While one group of students performed their song, the others sitting in the audience were instructed to observe appropriate etiquettes. It is important to us that our students learn to show respect for others’ work as well as to sing and dance.
At the end of the event, the Full Attendance Awards and the Excellent Member Awards were presented to those who are especially committed team players and self-disciplined learners. May music bring joy and happiness to all children in their journey through life. Have fun over the summer!
