On July 2, our two-day run of High School Musical in Shanghai ended on a high note. High School Musical tells a story about youth, friendship, and the joy of being ¡°all in this together.¡±

   Like their fictional counterparts, the cast gave it their best. The Jocks broke a sweat break-dancing in ¡°Get¡¯cha Head in the Game,¡± whereas the girls showed off their versatility as vigorous cheerleaders in the same scene, as awkward wannabe thespians in ¡°Auditions,¡± and as stunning Latin dancers in ¡°Bop to the Top.¡±

  As a custom, our former students would come back from all parts of the world to lend us a helping hand. This summer was no exception. They played the roles of make-up artists, crew members, and stage managers, sparing no effort to put on a good show.

  Thanks to every teacher and student of Musical Theatre Class B. It has been a blessing working with you, growing with you, and making our dreams come true. We¡¯re all in this together. See you again in September.
