On January 13, 2018, we reported our learning progress at the end of the Fall Term to our students’ parents.

First up, DIY Music Division presented us with a selection of songs with some stylistic range. Coupled with choreography changes, our younger performers were conducted to switch between unison and canon singing. So much of their energy affected their parents, that the parents also joined in.

This term, we sought to help Schubert Class 2 improve their voice control. Starting with listening to the sound of the piano and that of their own voice individually, they eventually moved on to compare them in relation to each other. Their performance of three songs in three different languages was deeply moving.

Music has planted a seed of love in our children. When it blossoms later in life, it will be a source of positivity to them and their companions. It is Singing Hearts’ mission to pass it on from one generation to the next.
