On May 23 and 30, 2018, the Singing Hearts community marked its 10th birthday with two moving concerts at Shanghai Music Hall.

¡°Season of Love¡±

On May 23, our teachers took center stage to celebrate the ¡°Season of Love.¡± Many of us have served the community for over five years in a great number of capacities;, as conductor, as piano accompanist, as choreographer, as acting coach, and as director. Our commitment is rooted in a love for the arts, for our children, and for education.

We understand that the words and deeds of our teachers will have a ripple effect on our students. Therefore, it is imperative that we shoulder the responsibility and set a good example for the next generation.

¡°Special Love¡±

On May 30, our students put on a wonderful show in the seventh year of our ¡°Special Love¡± charity concert series.

As witnessed by the audience, representatives from Shanghai Singing Hearts Children¡¯s Choir, Shanghai Women Journalists¡¯ Choir, and Shanghai Soong Ching Ling Foundation Han Welfare Fund launched the ¡°Special Love: Seed of Music Initiative,¡± with the goal of making sustainable contribution to the cause of music education. On the eve of our tenth birthday, we wish to make the world a brighter place with benevolence from the heart.

After the show, people from all trades who feel invested in our community sent us their warm regards. Together, as one loving community, let us embark on a new decade.
