From June 22 to 27, 2024, the annual musical theater showcase lit up Sunshine Theater, with young performers undeterred by rainy weather.

Harmony of Life

Class 1B debuted Singing Hearts’ first original Chinese musical, A Boy’s Melodic Journey, following introverted teen Liang’s path to self-discovery through song, guided by his supportive mother Meng and three vocal mentors. 

Class 1A revived a struggling American theater in their retro-themed story Saving the Spotlight, celebrating teamwork and resilience.

Class 2 reimagined Aladdin from One Thousand and One Nights, weaving magic and bravery as the hero unlocked a genie’s power to win love and protect his kingdom, highlighting the enduring power of courage and wisdom.

Legacy and Unity

On June 26-27, Singing Hearts alumni returned to cheer for Aladdin, embodying the department’s spirit of mentorship. Their presence energized young performers, underscoring a shared legacy of passion and dedication. From fresh faces to seasoned mentors, every participant left an indelible mark on Singing Hearts’ vibrant stage.
