As the summer heat fades away, the Shanghai Heart Voice Children's Choir (SHCC) ushers in the 2026 school year. Starting September 5, every Saturday will become a harbor of music and joy — welcoming every young singer home.

🎨 Creative Music Department

The little singers of the Creative Department lit up the new semester with their voices and smiles. Every note, every movement — a step into the wonderland of music.

📖 A Brand-New Textbook

This semester marks a milestone: the Creative Department will debut SHCC's very own original textbook series — Voices on the Heart: Children's Singing Enlightenment, a three-volume set.

Born from years of teaching practice and reflection, this series represents a major leap forward in SHCC's educational philosophy. Under its guidance, children will embark on a systematic, professional, and joyful journey of vocal discovery.

For the newly joined Creative Department families, veteran parents gathered in a warm circle to share their experience and tips — helping newcomers feel right at home in the SHCC family. SHCC founder Teacher LILY was also present, sharing the story and vision behind the choir's founding.

🎭 Musical Theatre Department

The Musical Theatre performers returned with confidence and passion. Through rehearsal, they dove into their characters; through song, they found their voice. This year's repertoire promises exciting challenges — and we can't wait to see what they bring to the stage.

🌟 Special Event: "The Secret of Shadows" Screening

As a bonus treat, Classes Yin 1A and Yin 2 enjoyed a special screening of SHCC's original science-themed musical, The Secret of Shadows! Young singers and parents gathered in the classroom to experience the magic of musical theatre together — launching the new semester through light, shadow, and song.
