On the sixth and final day of the camp, our students have accomplished the learning goals we set out to achieve. For evidence, look no further than their performance of “Moving Forward” at the closing ceremony. Before saying goodbye, each of our students stood before the class and spoke about their takeaways with the aid of display boards. Following the presentation, multiple awards were given out, including the Group Leadership Award, the Service Award, and the Progress Award. Although only a few children received awards, all of them made progress in their own ways.
Over the course of six days, a sense of kinship developed between our students. They were eager to help each other learn in class and willing to lend a helping hand in daily life. The summer camp must come to an end, but our love will continue.
